No French language knowledge required as the subject is taught in English.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging STEM curricula that inspire curiosity and exploration.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans, assignments, and instructional materials that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Administer and evaluate formative and summative assessments to measure student progress.
- Utilize various educational technologies to enhance learning experiences.

French American School of Princeton is seeking a dynamic and passionate Elementary and Middle School Music Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, a commitment to fostering a love for music in students, and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Instrumental Instruction: Provide instruction in various musical instruments, fostering both individual and ensemble skills. Develop and conduct rehearsals for school performances.
- Vocal training: Cultivate vocal abilities in students through effective vocal instruction. Organize and lead choir rehearsals, preparing students for performances and events.
- Classroom management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for music and encourages student participation and creativity.
- Performance Planning: Coordinate and organize musical performances, concerts, and recitals, showcasing students' talents and achievements. Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects.
- Assessment and feedback: Evaluate students' progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback. Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' musical development.
- Professional Development: Stay current with trends and best practices in music education. Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies.
- Equipment and Resource Management: Manage and maintain music instruments, equipment, and resources. Assist in the selection and acquisition of new instruments and materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
- Previous experience in elementary and middle school music education is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
