Welcome from the Head of School

Corinne Güngör, FASP Head of School

Corinne Güngör,
Head of School

Bonjour,

My hope for my own children is happiness. I dream that they will inhabit a world where they embrace open-mindedness, tolerance, and respect. That they know how and when to question, to analyze, to stand up for their opinions, and to persuade. I want them to have the leadership skills and abilities to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. I hope that they will find fulfilling and meaningful careers, and surround themselves with those they love and those who share their values.

This is also my dream for the students of French American School of Princeton. I founded FASP over 20 years ago because I truly believe in the power of a bilingual and international education. Academics and accreditations will always be important and remain the bedrock of FASP. But creating and sustaining a school that is nurturing and supportive of students, families, faculty, and staff is also critical.

At FASP we try to model the world in which I want my children to live. Students learn best when surrounded by educators who believe in their students’ ability to learn and succeed but who also see their students as respected individuals who are part of our school, our families, our community, and our increasingly complex world.

I am delighted to return to the beautiful FASP campus and I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces and families and meeting many new ones as together we continue - or embark on - our students’ bilingual journeys.

I invite prospective families to visit our lovely school. Read about our Mission and Values. Explore the academic foundation in our Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle School Divisions, and learn more about our dual accreditations by the MSA-CESS and the French Ministry of Education.

Please come and learn about us, ask questions, meet our faculty and our families. We look forward to seeing you on our beautiful campus and introducing you to the possibility of a FASP education for your child.

Warmly,

Corinne Güngör,
FASP Head of School
