Math + Pizza = 2021 Math Challenges! Recently, st Math + Pizza = 2021 Math Challenges!

Recently, students in grades 5 through 8 participated in the 2021 math challenges! This event is an opportunity for students to showcase their skills in a variety of math topics, while working together as a team. To allow for social distancing, the challenge was conducted through Zoom rooms, giving students the ability to still collaborate with their teammates. 

To celebrate the hard work of the students, they were rewarded with a pizza party! #SayOuiToFASP

Well, students in the ps/pk group certainly have their Monday morning routine set! Upon arrival to their classroom, students in the ps/pk group complete various tasks including putting away their belongings, hanging up their jackets and making their beds. Setting the morning routine helps promote independence and autonomy in completing daily tasks! #SayOuiToFASP
Although we are currently observing remote learnin Although we are currently observing remote learning due to the snow, students in grade 2 recently created kites! 

After learning about air properties, students used tape, string, skewer sticks and recycled shopping bags to construct their individualized kites. Once the weather conditions clear, students will be able to fly the kites outdoors! #SayOuiToFASP
Prior to the Presidents’ Day Recess, students in Prior to the Presidents’ Day Recess, students in maternelle and elementary enjoyed a parade in honor of the Lunar New Year. Students safety lined the halls and watched as the dragon made its way throughout FASP. The dragon, made from various items found at craft stores, was created by FASP STEM Teacher Ms. Jill. Students were excited to see the dragon, hear the music and to celebrate the Lunar New Year! #SayOuiToFASP

Created by STEM Teacher Ms. Jill, a dragon roamed the halls as students in maternelle and elementary cheered and used noisemakers in honor of the celebration. More footage of our Lunar New Year Parade will be posted soon! #SayOuiToFASP

Ahead of Valentine’s Day, the FASP Parents’ Association decorated our campus with hearts and special messages to our school community. Thank you to the PA for once again making our campus a “lovely” sight! #SayOuiToFASP
