Today, students throughout all grade levels celebrated Galette des Rois! After lunch, each class crowned their own king or queen after the “fève” was found in one of the pieces of Kings’ Cake. Kings and queens are among us! During an at-home Zoom class, students in kindergarten put their culinary skills to the test and prepared a traditional galette! While using ingredients such as almond flour, sugar and butter, students baked a sweet treat fit for royalty.

Using oil pastels, students created snowflakes in kindergarten. But, these are secret snowflakes! After creating the snowflakes, students then used ink to paint over the oil-based snowflakes, showing their special water-resistant style.
