History

The School was founded by Corinne Güngör and Anne Carcagno in 2000. As an educator and a mother to four trilingual sons, Güngör knew the benefits of bilingualism and the tremendous impact that it has on children’s learning. Upon opening the doors to only five students at its start, Corinne Güngör grew FASP into a multicultural, tight-knit and thriving school community.

2000 - French American School of Princeton opened its doors at Christ Congregation Church to five students!

2002Due to FASP's increasing enrollment, the school moved to All Saints Church at 16 All Saints Road in Princeton, NJ. 

2007 - FASP acquired a second building, in Lawrenceville NJ, to accommodate its growing enrollment. 

2010 - The first Annual Soiree event was held setting the stage for FASP's culture of philanthropy.

2011 - FASP moved to its current location, 75 Mapleton Road, a beautiful 42-acre campus.

2014 - FASP celebrated the first Middle School graduating class!

2015 - FASP celebrated its 15-year anniversary!

2020FASP celebrated its 20th anniversary!

2021 - FASP welcomed Head of School, Dominique Velociter.

2023 - FASP Board of Trustees appoints Corinne Güngör as Head of School.
